Replication: The Debate

On September 29, a public debate was held on the campus of NYU.  The subject of the debate was “Do Replication Projects Cast Doubt On Many Published Studies in Psychology?”  The debate pitted Brian Nosek, director of the Center for Open Science and a leading advocate of the importance of replication, against Jason Mitchell, a professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard.
